PAMA Program
Perspectives and Mindsets Alignment
The PAMA initiative aims to empower individuals across all age groups by fostering understanding, communication, and shared values.
Through personalised academic support, sports coaching, cultural awareness, mentorship and school guidance, PAMA ensures education remains a priority. Additionally, PAMA actively addresses community issues within Australia, bridging gaps between generations and promoting cross-cultural connections.
Basketball Program
Our Youth Basketball Program is geared toward young athletes (U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U20) focusing on skill development, teamwork, and fostering a love for the game. Players receive training and participate in friendly competitions to build confidence on and off the court.
For advanced athletes, the Eagles Elites program offers high-level training designed to prepare players for competitive play and life skills mentorship. This program includes participation in tournaments of SSANBA (Summer Slam and National Classic), with a focus on developing leadership, strategy, and peak athletic performance.
Eagles Education Support Program
Our athletes are always reminded that education is the top priority. They should not focus solely on sports at the expense of their studies. To support our vision for education, we have introduced the “Eagles Reading Program” and general academic support to Supporting Athletes Love For Education. The Eagles Education Support Program is a culturally appropriate initiative designed to support the academic success and career aspirations of children and young people belonging to Canberra Eagles Basketball. The program provides structured educational support before their basketball training sessions on Saturday mornings, ensuring a balance between academic achievement and sports engagement. By integrating education with their passion for basketball, the program will create a strong foundation for the future success of Eagles players and will support the community.
